Could I go to a sate university for a year, then transfer to a super prestigious school like Boston College?

My fresgaman year of high school bombed my chances of getting in right out of high school, but I did pretty good the rest of high school. Could I go to a SUNY school, get a 4.0 gpa over a semester or two there, and then transfer to a top school such as Boston College or Carnegie Mellon?
