NOBODY IS ANSWERING THIS QUESTION! HELP!?

So about a week ago, me and my now ex-boyfriend broke up because he told me he was kinda in love with his ex still cuz they were really attached and for the past couple days we've been very mean to eachother. I called him many mean names and he has too. Hes called me a h0e, a fata$$, said he just played me, a bitc*, and saying "How could i pass her up? she has an amazing body, so how could i stop liking her?" [they sated for 3 months] and we said some other stuff to each other. I was equally as harsh back to him. My friends even got in the argument and said some things to him. And so we didnt really talk to each other for 24 hours because i was sick of everything. And then not too long ago he texts me up and after, he said he was sorry for everything, and that he lied when he said he didnt like me.=he said he just was pissed and needed something to say, and was asking if i could forgive him, he said he was sorry again. So i said i forgave him for saying all that to me. And i asked him if he was going to be dating his ex and he said "No i wont. Just for you ;) goodnight" And thats all that was said. So why do you think he appoligized after fighting on/off the past couple days? Also he would be the one texting me to argue with me out of no where when we would argue. Why is he suddenly apoligizing? PS. We only dated for a month.
