My ipod touch wont connect to the internet when logged into free wifi.?

This is something that the free wifi people never tell you. Often they're wifi is only available to certain devices as they can restrict the use of whatever tries to log on to the connection. Saying that, it could also be your device, theyre may be something on you're device preventing your connection. Maybe try updating the OS?
