Why won't fiance move out of parents basement?

Seriously it is soo lame. I love him but I live with him and I'm 4 months pregnant. Living in his parents basement is just the worst thing EVER and I want to move to an apartment. He makes more than enough money to afford one but he would rather wait to buy a house in a year or two. How can I make him move out? I already tried to tell him that if we don't have an apartment or a house by the time baby comes then I'm going to look for a job now and move out myself which completely backfired, we got into a huge fight and didn't resolve anything. I don't even like my in-laws. What do I do?! I'm going crazy here. I/m 24 and he's 23. He's been working since he was 17.
